Scarlett Johansson and James D’Arcy Join Alfred Hitchock and the Making of Psycho

Scarlett Johansson and James D'Arcy have signed on to play Psycho stars Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins in Fox Searchlight's Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho , Montecito's adaptation of the Stephen Rebello non-fiction book. Variety has the news that both will appear opposite Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock. Sacha Gervasi ( Anvil! The Story of Anvil ) will direct the film, which tells the true tale of Hitchcock's attempts to finance his now-classic 1960 horror film. Adapted by John McLaughlin, who co-wrote Black Swan , the story is centered on the relationship between Hitchcock and his wife Alma Reville. Helen Mirren is slated to play Alma. Danny Strong to Adapt The Lost Symbol

Danny Strong is now attached to draft The Lost Symbol , Sony Pictures' third adaptation of Dan Brown's Robert Langdon books. Deadline has the news, saying that Mark Romanek is still likely to direct the big-screen version. Ron Howard, who directed The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons , will produce with his Imagine Entertainment partner Brian Grazer.The 2009 book is officially described as follows: The Lost Symbol is a masterstroke of storytelling--a deadly race through a real-world labyrinth of codes, secrets, and unseen truths... all under the watchful eye of Brown's most terrifying villain to date. Bruce Willis to Headline Five Against a Bullet

Columbia Pictures announced today that Bruce Willis will star in Five Against A Bullet , an action thriller being developed by producers Lorenzo DiBonaventura, Jordan Schur, and David Mimran. Alex Litvak is writing the screenplay which centers on a Mexican politician who, after his father is killed by a drug cartel, hires the five best bodyguards from around the world to protect him through a contentious election. Mila Kunis has joined cast of ShadowMachine's Hell & Back , the studio announced today. She'll star opposite the previously announced Nick Swardson, TJ Miller, Rob Riggle, Brian Posehn and Kumail Najiani. The R-rated stop-motion animated comedy follows two best friends (Swardson and Miller) as they rescue their buddy who has been accidentally dragged to Hell. Check Out Four New International Battleship Posters

On the heels of last week's international poster featuring Taylor Kistch, Universal's Battleship has debuted four new international designs focusing on Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna and the alien. Check them out below, courtesy of IMP Awards . The film arrives from director and producer Peter Berg ( Hancock ) and unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Based on Hasbro's classic naval combat game, Battleship also stars Brooklyn Decker. In France, Belgium and the UK, the film opens on April 11, and many other countries will get it in the following weeks before the movie hits North America on May 18.
