Responsible for films like Run Lola Run , Perfume and The Princess and the Warrior , Tykwer's latest is described as follows: ["3" is] a sexy romantic drama with a nod to classic Hollywood's screwball comedies. Ed Helms to Headline Le Mac Remake

Ed Helms has signed on to headline Red Hour Films' remake of the 2010 French crime comedy Le Mac , Variety reports. The original film starred Jose Garcia in the dual roles of Chapelle and Ace le Mac. The former is an unadventurous banker and the latter his long-lost twin brother, who happens to be an infamous pimp and criminal mastermind. Chapelle winds up getting employed by the police to impersonate his brother and must take on the full identity of Le Mac. Up-and-commer Johnny Rosenthal will provide the Americanized screenplay which will, presumably, move forward with a different title. WonderCon 2012 Moves to Anaheim

The move for next year's show rumored for some time, Comic-Con International has officially confirmed that WonderCon 2012 will be held in Anaheim, California rather than in the San Francisco Bay Area, where it has been held since it began in 1987 (first at the Oakland Convention Center and, since 2003, the Moscone Center). The official announcement about the move appeared on the organization's official site and reads as follows: WonderCon, part of Comic-Con International's (CCI) family of conventions, today announced that the 2012 show will be held March 16-18, and Anaheim, California, will play host to the long-running comics and popular arts convention. Found Footage Thriller Evidence Finds Cast

Starz Ending Streaming Deal with Netflix

Starz, LLC, President and Chief Executive Officer, Chris Albrecht, issued the following statement today regarding the status of affiliation agreement renewal discussions with Netflix. Mark Bomback to Rewrite The Wolverine

Still without a confirmed start date for production, 20th Century Fox's The Wolverine has brought aboard Mark Bomback for rewrite duties. Variety has the update, claiming that the Live Free or Die Hard scribe will take on Christopher McQuarrie's original script. The film, a sequel to 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine is said to have a heavy focus on Japan, inspired by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont's 1982 miniseries. Bomback's upcoming writing credits include Jack the Giant Killer and Total Recall , the former of which features rewrites by McQuarrie. Though nothing is set in stone as far as production goes, The Wolverine will hopefully begin filming in early 2012.

The Walking Dead Season 2 to Premiere with 90-Minute Episode

AMC announced today that season 2 of "The Walking Dead" will kick off with an extra half hour on Sunday, October 16 at 9pm ET: AMC's critically acclaimed original series, "The Walking Dead," is back with its much anticipated second 13 episode season. Kicking-off a two week long Fearfest, the network, once again, presents viewers with a 90-minute premiere episode, airing at 9 PM ET on Sunday, October 16th, with six one-hour episodes in the weeks following. The final six episodes of the season commences on Sunday, February 12th at 9pm ET. AMC announced today it has given the green light to "Secret Stash," produced by Kevin Smith and set in his comic shop Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash: AMC announced today that the network has greenlit the unscripted television series Secret Stash executive produced by Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Chasing Amy), Charlie Corwin's Original Media (LA Ink, Miami Ink, Storm Chasers and Swamp People) and Elyse Seiden (Red State).
